Pre-Release for Intel: coot-0.6-pre-1 revision 2310 for 32-bit Intel 10.6

Install it this way: 

curl -O   http://sage.ucsc.edu/downloads/coot-0.6-pre-1-revision-2310_10.6_i386.tgz
sudo mv  coot-0.6-pre-1-revision-2310_10.6_i386.tgz    /.
cd /.
sudo tar xvfz coot-0.6-pre-1-revision-2310_10.6_i386.tgz
sudo rm coot-0.6-pre-1-revision-2310_10.6_i386.tgz

Invoke it with this command: 

/usr/local/xtal/coot/bin/coot

If that doesn't do the right thing, try issuing this command first: 

source /usr/local/xtal/coot/bin/init.sh

or if you use tcsh, issue 

source /usr/local/xtal/coot/bin/init.csh

followed by 

/usr/local/xtal/coot/bin/coot




Pre-Release for Intel: coot-0.6-pre-1 revision 2253 for Intel 10.5 and 10.6

Note that unlike version 2223, this should run ok with X-windows on 10.6.

cd /.
sudo tar xvfz coot-0.6-pre-1-revision-2253_10.5_10.6_i386.tgz
sudo rm coot-0.6-pre-1-revision-2253_10.5_10.6_i386.tgz

Invoke it with this command: 

/usr/local/xtal/coot/bin/coot

If that doesn't do the right thing, try issuing this command first: 

source /usr/local/xtal/coot/bin/init.sh

or if you use tcsh, issue 

source /usr/local/xtal/coot/bin/init.csh

followed by 

/usr/local/xtal/coot/bin/coot
